I'm Back!!!!!

It’s such a long time since my last post here...

I have a lot of story to tell, but don’t have enough time to write and post it..><>

Right now, I’ve been doing my research and hope it will be as smooth as I want, yea, I have to finish this research on this December, but until now I have just been finishing 5% for 100%.. It’s such a small number right??

Well, I’ll tell you what I do on my research...

Do you know sponge???if you don’t know it, I’ll tell you then..

It’s an ancient animal in the sea that still alive until now because of the bacteria which is living on it. For its reason, I have to find all of the bacteria on that sponge with its DNA..

Sounds freak huh??? It’s kinda like that I am such a freak student, playing with DNA...><

For this research, I have to isolate the genome, copy the 16S fragments with PCR, ligate it into a vector (plasmid), transform it into E.coli DH5α, isolate the plasmid (again), copy the M13 fragments, cut the M13 fragments with restriction enzyme, and sequensing. Such a long way to go, right???

Yea, it is such a long research that I have to face up for this year...

But, luckily I don’t do it alone. I have 3 others friends who are doing the same research with me. They are Ricky, Tedjo, and Darwin (the bossy guy, so we call him as young master...lol). But, I’m so sorry can’t upload their photo here, because I don’t have their photos.Next time maybe..

So, until now I had passed 12 times PCR and 4 times transformation. And after 3 times we failed to do the transformation, on the fourth time, we can do it!!! succesfully!!! haha^^

Yea, next week I have to do another transformation. Hopes I will get the best shoot on it...^^

Well, I wanna say goodbye to Mr. Yogiara, hope you can finish your study there A.S.A.P..He has been so nice to me and my partner, helped us to solve our problem on this research...See you next time, Sir!! And on that time you'll see us as a S.Si...We'll gonna miss you so much!!
